FOTR this week is Austin’s DJ Mel. Mel’s been holding anything and everything down in Austin for what literally feels like forever. Whether it’s been his Rock The Casbah 80’s themed special events, his insanely long running weekly Monday party at Nasty’s or being the official DJ for University of Texas Longhorns basketball, he’s certainly embedded himself in Austin’s music scene. What’s brought him to a national stage in recent years is his work djing events for President Obama in the past and now for Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
