DJ Shiftee takes a break from winning multiple DMC world championships to talk to Rub Radio about gold turntables, teaching the youths, and the rap group Onyx. Shiftee then steps up to the decks for a mind-bending dubstep set, chock full of skills. And like we always do at this time, The Rub plays a mix of everything from disco to hip-hop to house to latin funk.

And of course he joins us on the turntables as we play all types of joints from hip-hop to revival soul to dubstep to funk and plenty of exclusives.

Pimp Trick Gangsta Click

I’m doing a party this Thursday from 8-11 called Classics. The idea is to play a classic album and the music which inspired it, along with the music inspired by it; this Thursday that album is Aquemini. In getting my crates together for the party, I thought I would make a mix. So here it is, the Pimp Trick Gangsta Click mixtape.
