FOTR this week again is Austin’s DJ Mel, as he’s our guest for The Rub at The Bell House this Saturday. As mentioned before, Mel’s pretty much the man in Austin, TX. Whether it’s been his Rock The Casbah 80’s themed special events, his insanely long running weekly Monday party at Nasty’s or being the official DJ for University of Texas Longhorns basketball, he’s always steady on the grind. What’s brought him to a national stage in recent years is his work DJing events for President Obama in the past and now for Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
