Our other guests this month for the May edition of The Rub are repping a relatively new party, SZN SLT. This crew is made up of Donwill and Meka, 2 names that have been around and making waves for a long time now. You may have seen Donwill play a show with his rap group, Tanya Morgan, or DJing for basically every single comedy show in Brooklyn. He’s also a co-host of the monthly event “Shouting at The Screen” with Wyatt Cenac at Alamo Drafthouse as well as being the music supervisor for Wyatt’s HBO show, “Problem Areas”. Meka is a co-founder of 2DopeBoy, one of the best rap music and culture blogs ever. He’s also a very prolific DJ on the party circuit and is constantly dropping killer mixtapes like the one streaming below.
